IOMP Medical Physics Workforce Survey 2022

Dear Colleague,

Re: IOMP Medical Physics Workforce Survey 2022

We invite the National Member Organization (NMO) officers or other responsible representatives to participate in a survey that aims to collect information for the International Organization for Medical Physics (IOMP) about the current numbers of medical physicists in your country as well as about your medical physics training and accreditation pathways currently implemented.

We strongly encourage you to complete the questionnaire so that we can identify our workforce status, training diversity and future demands. It will take you ~15-20 minutes to complete the survey. Only 1 response per NMO will be accepted. Participation is voluntary.

Analyzed data will be presented at relevant professional conferences and in a publication.

“This project has been approved by the University of South Australia’s Human Research Ethics Committee (Ethics Protocol 204527)” under the study title: IOMP Medical Physics Workforce Survey 2022.

We at IOMP care about your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with fair information practices and applicable data privacy laws. The privacy notice is included in the survey’s introduction.

As part of this survey, data is only visible to the survey administrator. Please note that we will be asking for your email address and name to ensure that the right representative of the National Member Organization has submitted the form.

The non-personal data will be aggregated to provide broad demographic information, such as the geographic location of participants.

Collecting this type of information allows us to analyze trends and statistics and provide better service to medical physics community worldwide.
