The Iraqi medical physicists will celebrate the IDMP by making the opening ceremony for the medical physics lab in Mustansiriya medical college, where new modern experiments were added to improve the practical part of this subject by developing the medical application of the physical principales. The new experiments include:
Doppler sonography
Human electrocardiography
Radiation detection and protection
Applications of pulsed and continous laser
Spectrum analyzer Application
Imaging with X-rays
