Program Structure
Duration:
3-year structured theoretical–practical residency program
Optional additional 1-year supervised clinical specialization in a selected subdiscipline

Recognized by the Argentine Nuclear Regulatory Authority (ARN)
Accredited within the IOMP-recognized academic and clinical training framework
The residency curriculum includes radiation protection training recognized for individual professional authorization purposes under national regulatory standards.

Eligibility
Applicants must hold a university degree (minimum 5-year program or equivalent) in:
Medical Physics
Physics
Biomedical Engineering
Nuclear Engineering
Electronic Engineering
Or related disciplines with a strong foundation in physics and mathematics
International applicants are welcome. Degree revalidation in Argentina is not required for participation in the residency program (it is only required for professional licensing if the graduate later chooses to work independently in Argentina).
Selection Process
The selection process consists of:
Online theoretical examination (Medical Physics-based, 100 questions).
Personal interview (virtual format).
Evaluation of academic and professional background.

The application period typically opens between March and April.
