Ghana Society for Medical Physics (GSMP) is scheduled to hold this year’s International Day of Medical Physics (IDMP) on Friday 7th November 2014 at the Conference Room of the School of Nuclear and Allied Sciences – Atomic Campus.
Theme for the celebration is Looking into the body – Advancement in imaging through Medical Physics.
This year’s celebration will take the form of a symposium.
Four distinguished persons have been identified to give speeches on the day:
1. Dr. Mumuni Abdul Nashirudeen (Medical Physicist – UDS Medical School)
2. Dr. Samuel Asiamah (Radiologist / Medical Director – Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital)
3. Mr. Eric Addison (Medical Physicist – KNUST / Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital)
4. Dr. Alfred Ankrah (Nuclear Medicine Physician – Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital)
All GSMP members, students and interested persons are invited to the celebration of IDMP 2014.
