IOMP President's Message

Madan Rehani, PhD
President, IOMP

Certificate for webinar, IOMP Election, Major awards of IOMP, and IMPW

We are happy to announce that based on strong demand we have started providing the certificate of participation to participants in the IOMP webinars starting Jan 2022. The certificates were sent to all those who attended the webinar fully on 9th Jan 2022. We are likely to get approval for CPD/CME credit and shall implement that from Feb/March 2022.

Every webinar results in 300-700 new registrations (of those who are not on our mailing list) and that indicates the interest our webinars are generating. Typical registrations are in the range of 1200-2300 and attendance around 1000 is becoming a common feature. Thanks for your interest. Please feel free to provide feedback suggesting topics. Please visit IOMP School webinar page to have updated information about upcoming webinars.

The Elections for the ExCom of IOMP for 2022-2025 are ongoing with a deadline of 11th Feb 2022, noon GMT. If you are a Council member and have not voted, please do so by deadline as per information you should have already received from Secretary-General (SG), IOMP. Please contact SG for any issue pertaining to this matter. The result will be declared latest by 7th March.

IOMP has many awards as per full information available at>>>. We are happy to announce awardees for the major awards in this newsletter and please see the announcement on IOMP website.

A virtual ceremony for awarding Honorary membership to two distinguished non-medical physicists Dr. Donald Miller, USA who is a radiologist and Dr. Noora Al Hammadi, Qatar (radiation oncologist) was held on 11th Jan 2022. Please see pictures.

We expect many countries to organize events and please provide us information about your events for inclusion on the IMPW webpage.
