The International Conference on Medical Physics (ICMP-2023) was organized from 6 to 9 of December in Mumbai, India. I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your very enthusiastic participation. The conference brought together approximately 1400 colleagues from around the globe, fostering a rich exchange of ideas and insights. Your active involvement greatly contributed to the success of the event, making it a truly enriching experience for all. While we celebrate the achievements of the conference, we are also mindful of the challenges faced by some of our colleagues due to visa issues, preventing them from joining us in Mumbai. These challenges have provided us with valuable lessons, and we acknowledge the importance of addressing such issues for future events. The IOMP Executive Committee (ExCom) has thoroughly discussed the strengths but also the weaknesses and challenges faced, and we are committed to incorporating these lessons into the planning and organization of future International Conferences of Medical Physics. Your feedback and insights are crucial in shaping the success of these events, and we encourage you to share any further thoughts or suggestions.
