Minutes of the First SEAFOMP meeting held during the World Congress of
Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering, Chicago

1. The meeting agreed that each of the member country is to nominate one representative to serve in the council.
2. The following officials were elected to serve a three-year term starting 2000.
President: Dr Ng Kwan Hoong, Malaysia
Vice President: Dr Anchali Krisnanchinda, Thailand
Secretary: Ms Agnette Peralta, The Philippines
Treasurer: Mr Wong Toh Jui, Singapore
Auditor: Dr Djarwani, Indonesia
3. SEAFOMP web page - Dr Ng is to look into the possibility to set up the SEAFOMP web page.
4. Assistance for travel: Funds to be solicited and set up to assist young physicists to travel.
5. Logo - Ms Peralta to look into the design of SEAFOMP logo.
6. Constitution - Mr Wong to assist in drafting the constitution patterned after the AFOMP's.
