Brief Description of Academic Program(s), Clinical Training, and Duration: The education covers Radiation Physics, in general and aims both to professional work in Hospital Physics departments and to Radiation Protection work at legal authorities and nuclear power stations and the duration is two years. The following courses are included (all courses are full time): First year (first semester) : 1. Fundamentals of Biology and  Topographic Anatomy (16 weeks, 2 hrs/week), 2. Quantum Physics and Nuclear Physics (16 weeks, 4 hrs/week), 3. Introduction to Research  (16 weeks, 2h/ week), 4. Mathematics Models (16 weeks, 4 hrs/week), 5. Postgraduate Seminary (16 weeks, 2 hrs/week), (second semester): 1. Interaction of ionizing radiation with the matter (16 weeks, 4 hrs/week), 2. Nuclear instrumentation (16 weeks, 4 hrs/week), 3. Fundamental of Physiology and Oncology (16 weeks, 2 hrs/week), 4. Postgraduate Seminary (16 weeks, 2 hrs/week), 5. Project of thesis (presentation)
Second year (first semester): 1. Radiation Dosimetry I (16 weeks, 4 hrs/week), 2. Radiation Biology (16 weeks, 4 hrs/week), 3. Diagnostic Physics I (16 weeks, 4 hrs/week), 4. Postgraduate Seminary  (16 weeks, 2h /Week), 5. Thesis work, (second semester): 1. Radiation Dosimetry II, 2. Radiation Protection, 3. Diagnostic Physics II, 4. Thesis presentation
