Chennai, India May 24-27, 2016
Radiation has been used as a treatment modality in the management of cancer, since the discovery of X- rays. As on date high energy X-rays, electrons and gamma rays are employed in the form of 3DCRT, IMRT and IGRT techniques. Tomotherapy and Cyberknife equipments have emerged in addition to regular linear accelerators. The regular update of fast changing technology is necessary to confirm the precise delivery of radiation to the individual patient.
In this context, a four day workshop: "Updates on Clinical Radiotherapy" is being organized by the Dr Kamakshi Institute of Medical sciences and Research (a unit of Dr. Kamakshi Memorial Hospital) at Chennai in collaboration with the Anna University, during May 24-27,2016. The
lectures will be delivered by senior international faculties having vast experience in this field. Along
with the theory lectures, practical sessions will be conducted with participants in multiple groups.
