Brief Description of Academic Program(s), Clinical Training, and Duration: The Master of Medical Physics at the University of Wollongong is a comprehensive program covering most important areas in medical and health physics and include the following topics: Physiology and Anatomy, Radiation Physics , Radiation Detectors and Dosimetry of Electrons, Photons, Neutron and Charged particles,  Physics of Radiation Therapy including Hadron Therapy, Medical Imaging Physics, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Biology &Radiation Protection, Instrumentation and Diagnostic Radiology, Research Project (Thesis) in clinical environment  and at CMRP UoW.

Number of students and faculty for Program(s): Students 15-20 (anticipated), Faculty 18, including 6 academics staff of  CMRP and 12 adjunct staff of Clinical Medical Physicists and Physicians .

Accreditation: Fully accredited by ACPSEM in 2003 . Course commences in 2001.

Admission Requirements for Citizen of the Country: Undergraduate degree in Physics or equivalent.

Additional Admission Requirements for Foreign Nationals: Proficiency in English.

Tuition fees (per semester): $ 11,000 AUD (2007).

Availability of Scholarship/Fellowship and Pertinent Requirements: Overseas Postgraduate Scholarship (application is required)
